I know it’s been about a week since you’ve heard from yours truly. I just got back from my tour with Jaqx and now am getting right back to work.
Recently, about a month ago, I decided to get my skinny-fat ass back into shape.
Business started exploding!
So naturally I decided I didn’t want to have a heart attack in my 20’s, and decided it was time to get back to getting my body where I wanted it to be. I reached the conclusion it was time to start hitting the gym as well as getting on an all around dietary regimen that would help me hit my goals.
I’ve been a firm believer that how you do anything, is how you do everything. If one section of your life isn’t doing well, chances are it can mess with other areas.
Case in point, your love life. If your love life is in ruins, chances are your business will take a hit as well. If your social life isn’t great, it can sometimes cause riffs in other areas as well.
Your health is no exception.
Below I’ve dropped just for shits and giggles, the exact chart I use for my clients on scoring each section of their life. The idea is to have a well balanced score for each section, which very rarely is the case for most people when first filling it out.
For me, like stated before, everything was on point except for my health and fitness goals.
So recently, I decided that not only did I want to get back to the gym, but I wanted to start bulking up as well. I was probably one of the most out of shape I’d ever been in my life, and feeling tired 24/7 on top of that.
Like stated before, my business was exploding, but wasn’t jacked about that health category.
So, recently I started back at it. About 45 days ago, on June 17th, I started on my journey back to where I wanted to be.
For a lot of people, looking lean is what they aim for during the summer. For me, I wanted to bulk up at gain about 10-15 pounds of muscle.
One of the biggest obstacles that gets in the way of a lot of parents out there is, well, being a parent. It’s hard managing multiple businesses, changing pull-ups, watching The Wiggles, and now hitting the gym. Too many people out there use this as a reason why they can’t have the life they want. For me, it’s a reason I HAVE TO make it happen.
I don’t EVER use my daughter as an excuse why not. Only why.
So, to prove to people that you can manage your businesses, parent, and get your gains in, I decided to start a vlog series.
This issue will go over the products I use, the workout regiments I partake in, and the food I grub out on during the process. I don’t want to sugar coat anything,which is why I feel a video is the best format.
I started about 6 and a half weeks ago, and have already seen tons of improvements. Last week, I finally made some big purchases in the product and supplement department, which is why I felt this post would now be appropriate to do.
So, without further delay…
A few fun facts about this water:
- Alkaline water has a pH level greater than seven. It balances the body ph of an acidic person. The body is not properly balanced and contains far too much acid because of poor diets and lack of physical activity among other reasons. To prevent this, you need to have alkaline water to normalize your acidic body. It’s an antioxidant that can stop premature aging and improve weight loss. By increasing the alkaline level of the body, it neutralizes the acidity level. If you rocked out 3-4 glasses of alkaline water, you’re in good shape for the day.
- The main cause of aging is Toxins. This is often because of poor diet, stress, and/or pollution. This gets stored in our body causing cell damage that leads to premature aging. So, having alkaline water to fight toxins and detoxify your body is ideal. Alkaline water not only carries sufficient nutrients and oxygen, but it also increases the effectiveness and absorption rate of any supplement as they get delivered deep into your cells. It has the ability to fights against free radicals and flush out the toxin and acid waste quite effectively from body. So yeah, that’s dope.
- Alkaline Water being used for preparing your favorite drinks like coffee or cooking will boost the real natural taste in food. It helps bring out its flavor, lowers acid levels of any food. Also, your occasional alcoholic drink will contain less unhealthy acids and will therefore reduce the negative physical reactions linked to drinking alcohol. So in other words, for my fellow functioning alcoholics, game on!
